ANNOUNCEMENTS
Landscaping in the Eagle Creek Residential Area As required by the Orange County Development Order, the Eagle Creek
Design Guidelines, and the Audubon International Silver Signature Program
guidelines, the use of non-native nuisance exotic plant material within
the landscape areas at each residence and in common areas located within
the residential portion of Eagle Creek is prohibited.
Residents of Eagle Creek are encouraged to use native plants when revegetating
disturbed areas and in landscaping plans. Because a plant occurs on the
property does not mean it is native to the region, or to the state of
Florida, or to the United States. Many resources are available to identify
whether a plant species is native to a region and whether a native plant
is commercially available. Both the U.S.
Department of Agriculture's National Plant Data Center and Audubon
International's Sustainable Communities Campaign: Surf Your Region &
Surf For Native Plants website are useful websites, and the Florida
Native Plant Society may also be a good resource for locating commercially
available native plants.
The Florida Exotic Pest Council has produced a list of Invasive Species. Click here
to view (PDF).
Audubon International has produced a List of Native Plants that are Commercially
available for use in Central Florida. Click
here to view (PDF).
Street Lights
If you notice that one of the street lights is not functioning correctly,
or has otherwise been damaged, would you please report the incident to
Sentry Management and NOT the local power company. Thank you.
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD As you will be aware, in common with all other gated communities
in Florida, we have an Architectural Review Board that has the job
of overseeing any external changes that a homeowner may intend to
make to the property. This is to ensure that the integral quality
and appearance of Eagle Creek is maintained. Should you wish to
make such a change, will you please download the Architectural Review
Board Request Form from this web site and then carefully and comprehensively
complete the form before submitting it. You will find some instructions
on how to complete the form along with the form itself.
THE NATURE OF EAGLE CREEK Eagle Creek features distinctive homes in a traditional European
village setting. A place where nature and neighborhoods co-exist
peacefully and families enjoy the good life. From the stone bridge
at its entrance to the championship golf course and New England
Manor style clubhouse at its center, Eagle Creek is a community
built for the family.
Neighborhoods of single-family homes, town homes, golf villas,
apartments and condominiums will grace the lakes and fairways of
Eagle Creek, and their well-lit sidewalks will allow residents easy
access to the local Community Parks or the Recreation Center with
its swimming pools, cabanas, weight room, sports fields and tennis
courts. There are also hundreds of acres of original wetlands that
have been retained to allow the native plants and animals to peacefully
coexist with the Eagle Creek residents. These natural areas are
accessed by both nature trails and equestrian trails, and the Audubon
Signature that Eagle Creek has been granted ensures that this environment
will be carefully maintained. An elementary school is planned to
be located in the heart of Eagle Creek close by the Village Center
which will feature a range of shops and offices that will integrate
into the community and allow residents the opportunity to work,
learn and play right on their doorstep. If you want some further
information on the Eagle Creek Golf Club, please go to the web site
